Tim Gorbey

Tim Gorbey is the Fifth and Sixth Grade Arts and Letters teacher at the St. Alban’s Campus of the Ecclesial Schools Initiative. A former pastor of nine years, Tim is passionate about equipping the next generation to see the beauty of God in everything they learn.

His deep love for storytelling, language, and theology is rooted in a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Penn State and a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. Tim’s heart for mentoring youth has previously led him to oversee an English Immersion Camp in Spain and direct large-scale sports and arts camps in Easton, PA.

Tim has been joyfully married to his best friend, Kate, for 15 years. Together with their son Tripp, they love going to the beach and going on adventures. Outside the classroom, Tim enjoys cooking, playing guitar, drinking great coffee, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.
