Healthy
Eating

In order to promote healthy nutritional habits for students, we encourage parents to make healthy choices when packing lunches or snacks, or when bringing food into the classroom for a treat or event. Instead of sweets like cookies, doughnuts, or cakes, drinks like sodas, soft drinks, or juice, or snacks like potato chips, parents are asked to consider fruits, vegetables, snacks like popcorn, and water for drinks. A great resource for how to assemble a healthy meal is the Harvard Healthy Eating Plate. Please look at the school’s pinterest page for more healthy eating ideas and recipes!
