Joshua Corlew

Joshua Corlew is the proud Dean of The Ecclesial School at St. Alban’s. Joshua is a lifelong educator who is passionate about cultivating a culture of joyful excellence, with more than a decade of experience teaching and leading in education in both traditional, public, and charter environments. 

Joshua earned his undergraduate degree in English at Florida State University, followed by a master’s degree in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Central Florida. After teaching high school and AP English for several years, he attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he earned his master’s degree in School Leadership. Soon after, he returned to Orlando as a school administrator and principal.

In each context, Joshua has been driven by a desire to see Christ’s kingdom flourish among the students, families and teachers he has served. He is excited to pursue his long-standing professional interests in developing student leadership and increasing access to classical Christian education through The Ecclesial School network. 

Both Joshua and his wife Hannah are from Central Florida and have three children, Theodore, Jane, and Florence. The Corlew family loves to explore the outdoors, read together and enjoy good food with friends and family as often as possible.
