Emerson Cooper

Emerson is excited to join The Ecclesial School staff as an Art Teacher. With two years of teaching experience, including time teaching abroad in Osaka, Japan, Emerson is passionate about creating an engaging and encouraging classroom where students can explore their creativity and develop their character through the arts.

Emerson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has a background in digital art and creative technology. Her teaching philosophy is centered on encouraging students to explore their creativity, develop confidence in their abilities, and discover their own unique artistic voices. Emerson believes that every student can be creative when given the opportunity, guidance, and encouragement to do so.

Her professional recognition includes Exceeding Expectations. Outside the classroom, Emerson enjoys reading, exploring different coffee shops, drawing, and spending quality time at the beach. Emerson is thrilled to become part of The Ecclesial School community and looks forward to inspiring students through art.
