Cynthia Bailie
Teaching upper school music at The Ecclesial School is the fruition of so many dreams and desires of Cynthia’s. A native Florida flamingo, she grew up in Winter Park and attended The Geneva School, Winter Park High School, The University of Central Florida (B.S. in Elementary Ed), and worshiped at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church (PCA). Eighteen years into marriage with her husband Ben, she is the proud parent of four children: Maddie Mae, Anna Belle, Benjamin, and Samuel. Cynthia has seven years of classroom teaching experience, and together with her husband, is one decade into planting Trinity Church of Lake Nona, and two decades into church ministry together; during which she has led worship and youth, children’s, and women’s ministries in various contexts.
In her free time, Cynthia loves running and exercising with kettlebells, good coffee and books, writing poetry, holding babies, and capturing natural beauty through photography. Music, classical education, God’s church, and the art of knowing people are all formative shapers in Cynthia’s life — rooting her in the good, the true, and the beautiful — and it is a joy and privilege for her to be an instrument of extending these tangible and intangible treasures to the precious lives of Ecclesial students. Soli Deo Gloria.
