Catherine Miller is the K-4 Instructional Coach. She is a veteran, Florida-certified educator with 30 years of experience in a variety of settings. Catherine graduated from Concordia University-Nebraska with a degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood, she taught in California, Missouri, and Minnesota. Through God’s providential hand, introducing her to the educational philosophy of Charlotte Mason, she was launched into 23 remarkable years home educating her own children. Catherine is forever grateful for this acquaintance to Ms. Mason decades ago. While living in Florida, she returned to the classroom in two classical school settings. During this time, God once again directed Catherine’s vocational path by introducing her to educators working with dyslexic/ADHD children, another providential acquaintance that would be unimaginably impactful. After receiving Orton-Gillingham training, she has worked the past two years in a school exclusively for dyslexic students and sees these years as truly transformative both as an educator and as a person.

Catherine is the wife of one amazing (and patient) husband. She is blessed to be the mom of five children and one daughter-in-law. Catherine loves reading and learning on many topics especially: life in Christ, apologetics, nutrition, and education. She thoroughly delights in taking long walks with her husband, family, and in the company of others. Catherine enjoys spending time with friends, savoring good food, and having robust fellowship. Through her own difficult life circumstances, God has given Catherine a heart to pray for and with those in need.
