Meda Montgomery
Meda Montgomery is an Associate Teacher at our Northland campus for the 2026-2027 school year. Meda is always aiming to reinforce the foundational skills students need to succeed across all subjects. Whether assisting with Latin vocabulary, guiding reading comprehension, or supporting the development of study habits, she approaches each student with patience, encouragement, and a commitment to their individual growth.
Before working at ESI, Meda worked in the Seminole County Public School System for 10 years, first as a Reading Assistant for grades K-3, then as an Exceptional Student Education assistant for grades K-5, and finally as a Behavior Technician at an alternative school for the county. During her time at ESI, she has served as an Instructional Aide in Kindergarten, an Associate Kindergarten Teacher, and an Academic Support Teacher. This year, she is thrilled to be resuming her role as an Associate Kindergarten Teacher!
Meda was born and raised in the Central Florida area where she attended Seminole State College and earned her Associate in Arts Degree. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Rusty, for 26 years and is the mom of three amazing adult children: Leah (25), Emma (23) and Will (21).
She loves spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include reading, going antiquing, spending time in the mountains or at the beach, and of course shopping with her daughters or friends!
She is looking forward to a new school year at the Ecclesial School where she can share her love for Jesus with the students. As a member of Westview Baptist Church and children’s church teacher, she has many fun ways to share Jesus and is excited to do this with the Ecclesial students each day!
